Over the summer, I would get outta bed in the mornings , grab myself a cup of coffee and head out to the patio where it would already, at 7:30, be plenty warm enough for me to enjoy reading my book. These days, I am dragging myself outta bed in the morning, grabbing my coffee and sitting down at my computer. The sun is out, it looks pretty, but I know its only 10 degrees out there! Fall slips in so fast you barely would notice it around here if it weren’t for the cool mornings. The high today is to be 26 degrees so it will feel summer-y, and with school still not being in for our kids, it is hard to remember sometimes that it is SEPTEMBER! I’ve got Jordan seeing a tutor for an hour here and there, hoping that this strike will finish and the kids will be back in school sooner than later. I feel bad for the kids – they are so ready to go back I am disappointed that the adults in the situation can not come to a fair agreement. Teachers, government. Please.
