When summer comes along, I am always tempted to cut my hair short…. it has been pretty short now for awhile but I went a little shorter last week and am tempted to take a little more off……much to the chagrin of my 12 year old daughter. I mean, it is nice and cool for the hot days, and takes very little styling (at least mine…) I even went so far as to bleach it out this summer….. this happened somewhat unexpectedly (as if  I can blame my hairstylist for everything).  He decided that I would like it bleached to a platinum blonde colour (I think it’s more of a “stripper blonde”) and so it happened……. I wanted to cry for the first week, but I am a big girl and never shed a tear (but I wore a hat every day!) I am ok with it now and think I will keep it for the summer but having your hair dyed takes way too much maintenance for my liking!

I photographed this girl awhile back and loved the colour of her hair and thought the pink stripe was so cute… I can imagine if I had come home to my family with that……

nevertheless, she rocked it (she is naturally a brunette, as well )
