It’s my oldest child’s twelfth birthday. She is officially a tween (is that what they call it?) I served her up some breakfast in bed this morning ( hoping it might actually get her to EAT breakfast this morning) and she is having 9 girls over for a sleepover and pizza, movie and just a general “hang out”. I set the table with little party plates and poofy things hanging above it, and candy on the table……. when she got home from the bus and saw it, she rolled her eyes but deep inside I know she loved it! No? I can’t quite get over that she didn’t want a party this year (although I’m secretly relieved…) and the girls will all watch a movie and leave me be.

Spring is here… there are buds on the fruit trees outside and I am so pumped. And totally out of left field but WAY more important… I BOOKED TICKETS TO SEE AEROSMITH this August !!!!!! I am finally going to get to see them and it will be at an outdoor amphitheatre and OMG, I can’t wait. Breathe… breathe……

Okay then … here’s a pic or two from the iPhone – I put together some pictures of Jordan and Ben on a canvas for Gary’s birthday and also did one for Jordan of her and her buddies. The other one is our apricot tree starting to bud……. ahhhhhh
