It’s my favourite day of the week. I can sleep in a bit tomorrow morning, or perhaps I’ll get up early for some “me” time and not have to rush around as I do on school days…. the world is my oyster. Lame, I know. Oh, but the simple things……I think I might even be as excited as Jordan is for the next two weeks of spring break. No rushing, no piano, no guitar, no dropping off, picking up, no lunches. Just BLISS. Maybe some time spent crafting with Jordan, painting, baking even? Whatever it is, I’m looking forward to it.

Spring has sprung here as well and it feels so good to go out without a jacket (except in the morning.. still a bit cool,  not so good). I know I can’t complain about the winter that we had here as compared to the rest of Canada. I’ve heard rumblings that there might be some spring springing other places as well…….

The iPhone pic today is of my floating shelves that I insisted on having when we did our kitchen reno…. I wanted to be able to see a couple of pretty dishes and some of my favourite things sitting out, calling to me…… the coffee isn’t so much a problem as the nibs and rockets! It’s an exercise in willpower a lot of days:) Happy Spring Break for those enjoying it, and happy spring to all!!!!
