Don’t you just love it when the flowers start to bloom? If only I was a real green thumb… this is the best place to grow flowers and get maximum enjoyment out of them but unfortunately gardening is not one of my strong points. I have enjoyed a couple of days out in the sunshine, weeding and trying to get our yard looking a little less chaotic, and have enjoyed watching the flowers bloom and smelling the lilacs in the air. Some day I just might find more time to learn a thing or two about the art of gardening from my friends or sisters… notice in the picture below, the plants on my windowsill are succulents, the only ones I can manage to keep alive, due to their never needing any attention! I DO love them so.

The paintings below are another little project I finished last week to donate to our school’s Fun Fair Silent Auction. and below that are some of the flowers in my yard,  none of which I can really take any credit for… they just keep turning up every year thankfully while I do nothing to nourish them…. and to be exceptionally grateful for this year…. the deer haven’t eaten one of our tulips!

Oh and by the way… had the most fun this morning out on our neighbour’s tennis court with 5 other gals. A good laugh and a few great shots. Pretty darn good for a Monday!
